Level 3 training completed!
Hey everyone,
I've not written a blog on WA in a while and I'm excited to share that I have completed my Level 3 training. I've got 23 posts on my site and I've done my best to make them have SEO- I found Jay's Live Events particularly helpful with this. I feel like I'm learning so many valuable skills that I can apply in my different ways, which is fantastic! Also, the more my thoughts get carried away with possibilities, the more websites I think about that I could build... do other people do that too!?
Unfortunately I didn't get accepted onto Google Adsense yesterday which deflated me a bit as I thought that my site looked sleek and my posts are all decent- all being a good length with nice images and quality information. I thought 23 posts would be enough but when I did a bit of searching after the rejection I found out that it seems lots of people get rejected the first time and it seems now that Google want your site to have lots of traffic before being accepted. Perhaps their expectations have been increased in recent years? It also made me look at websites from a new perspective and I've noticed that most of the ones I've seen in the past few days don't have Google Ads and they look good for not being clutter free. I'm sure I'll try again in a few months, but for now I'll focus on enhancing my affiliate marketing.
I've just got to grips with banners and working with the simple code to get banners up on my site so using passive calls to action, putting in more affiliate links and writing more quality content is my next goal. I'm also excited to work on my social media strategies. I've been trying to increase my followers on Instagram recently but it's been SLOW. Please feel free to follow me if you're interested :-)

Thank you! It’s great hearing everyone’s story and it’s comforting to know we’re treading the same path. I’ve still yet to get a sale, I’ll be over the moon when that happens. Are you making a decent income from your site(s) yet? It’s exciting to think what the future may hold. All the best! :-)
