What the.
Well, I'm about ready to throw in the towel. I so stuck and confused. I can't realize my niche because the things I know and I am passionate about like jet boats and Harley's are not typically things that you buy on line. Maybe parts and accessories but there is too much competition for that already. I know about palmistry but there aren't products that you can buy to support that. I can heal people with my hands but people think your crazy if you go broadcasting that around. How do you market something like that? you don't. I think if could understand how do you make money, who pays you, what do they pay you for. Just the basic things. None of this makes any sense. I just don' t understand what it is I'm supposed to be doing. With the Keyword stuff and finding out how much a subject is searched in a month, QSR's , Broad term, subcategories.. bla bla bla. Its making me very confused and my head hurt really bad,

Yes there is a lot to learn isn't there. I'm remember in the past learning completely new things. And when I look back it doesn't seem as big as it did at the time. In a lot of ways this business is like putting together a dune buggy. There are a whole lot of pieces needed to make it drive, then a whole lot more to fine tune it, then a bunch more to make it go fast. There's just no way I'd be starting out building a racing machine in the beginning.
So if I look at your interests and went looking for niche's then;
Harleys lend themselves to a blog, about road trips, tours, places to visit. And you know your part of the country well. (My belief is anyone that rides motorbikes typically knows the area they live in well. They travel it a lot) Monetising can come through affiliate products, amazon, organising tours, the accessories market, accessories for the bike and home.
Jet boats (I assume you mean jet skis and jet boats); A general info site perhaps; links to jet boat sales, jest skis, blogs about trips and places to visit. Again gear, accessories, are things that come to mind.
As for palmistry, a general info site, books, virtual coaching / classes, is it possible to do virtual palmistry. Likewise I assume you can do remote healing. So if you are healing with hands I assume you also read the body so potentially you can do this virtually as well.
I remember my son being keen to strip a bike down and rebuild it. A Honda Monkey 50. He pulled it apart, sanded the frame painted it and then he was left with a pile of bits that he didn't have names to, there was just too much for him to comprehend at the time. If he kept going he would have got it together and had a fun bike to ride. He didn't get there then.
Good luck with putting this together. A year or two from now you'll look back and won't remember the learning experience you went through. You'll just know stuff.
WOW!, Your partner Amy was spot on when she said you have a calming effect on people. And I have to give it to ya, you do understand how peoples brains work. You took my confusion, frustration and anxiety, and in a few words made it so clearly simple. I almost feel embarrassed about how irritated I was getting over nothing really. I do have a bad habit of over thinking things, but in a bad way.
When it comes to healing and palmistry I have be very focused and concentrate. I don't have any problem doing that, It's almost second nature. But when it comes to this internet marketing stuff it all seems very large and more to know than my brain can retain. I wasn't good at school. I didn't make good grades. I will admit I'm intimidated. I didn't grow up in the computer age, and a lot of things I'm supposed to know about computer lingo and what things mean, I don't. and that don't make it any easier. But I'm going to do it at my own pace and learn it at my own pace. And just go with the flow. And talk to you when I get overwhelmed and feel like it's not making any sense. If that's okay. Your a good one to know.
I know it can seem to be a bit overwhelming. Relax and back away from trying to find a niche. Keep on training and sharing with others and through the knowledge you gain I am sure you will find your niche! Have fun and enjoy.
That's a good idea! Put the niche down and back away. Kind of funny too. But, yeah I think I will do that for a minute atleast. Thanks!
I appreciate any and all the help I can get! That was good advice, any longer and I would have been a basket case. I pretty much stay on the edge any way. You got to draw the line some times.
Some times getting away gives us a fresh perspective. There are many of us here to help if needed
I've been there my dear, don't give up. I'm completely lacking in the internet speak myself, but with the WA encouragement I'm still here now over 2 months, and still not all there with the Internet jargon.
First you need patience. Patience to read, discuss and ask questions. You'll need to get into the discussions and also ask questions. Someone said the only stupid question is the one that wasn't asked. So go ahead and ask away in the discussion page.
You are also encouraged to contact Kyle and Carson the founder members and ask them anything. They'll be quick to answer you, if they haven't already by PM.
Some of us may learn faster, some slower. I know of some members who's been around years and not done anything except make friends. Then there's the go getters who gets their websites up and running within days.
I also find I can understand better when I read as many of the WA member's blogs and the comments as I go along. Lots of reading, commenting and discussion involved.
The trick is you have to go through the the WA certification lessons one by one and go back and refer if necessary as many times as you like any time. It's available forever. Don't forget to ask questions.
Same for BootCamp when you progress there and go through the lessons as above.
Most of all, have patience and love, God bless you
Shirley
Thank you Shirley, Your right, I haven' t grown up doing the internet stuff like my kids have. It all runs together and I get side tracked and confused and forget what I'm trying to do. Then I get information overload and don't retain any of it. I want to see some results so bad. I guess I'm trying to hard. I have been talking to people and have asked a few questions but i still don't understand what it is I'm trying to do. If some one could just explain the process maybe I could figure out what to do about my niche. There are thousands of things I can think of for my topic or niche. But I am baffle as to what happens after that. I want to know who pays you, what do they pay you for, where does the money come from, when does it come. I don' t know any of those things. If I did maybe I could understand what to do about my niche. I just feel totally in the dark and so far none of the lessons have explained that, Every time I sit on front of this computer I get an instant headache. I guess I will start all over, again. For some reason I'm getting very frustrated. Maybe because I haven't progressed past lesson two in over a week. I feel stupid.
Hello Jane dear, yes we all want to see the product the moment we open the package, so to speak.
Remember, I'm going on 70 so I knew little or none at all about the Internet jargon bla bla bla just about 2 months ago. I'm not going to explain anything here, but I will share what I went through over the last 2 months. Perhaps you might want to start with my blogs on my profile page. You'll find I made similar moans and groans.
First of all, WA is not a instant earning program, though for those who knows how to get around the internet might earn immediately. It is a training program that will teach you to setup websites and have it working. The training courses are yours to go through for as long as you want and you get 2 free websites to start with and unlimited free websites as you go along.
The perks are Kyle and Carson designed this program to be easy for us newbies with ready made tools to set up the websites. We learn to add all the bells and whistles with Blogs, posts, stories etc., and later link products of our Niche choosing into our websites. Again, you can learn how through the training courses.
The niche are the type of products which we want to specialize in, i.e.; Jet Boats or Harleys. So choose one or the other and start writing what you know and post blogs into your website which you can name as jetboatzoom@xxx.com or Harleyagogo@xxx.com (just an example). Later you'll learn how to find specialized parts and link with your own unique url link to your sites. All these will be taught. Remember, you can set up any number of websites, but start with one first.
The Boot camp program gives us the opportunity to promote the WA program as the sole niche, and we might earn commissions almost immediately for those who joins up on your bootcamp link and go premium. Of course you'll have to dress up this website with a lot of posts to attract them.
You can find out more about the bootcamp stats by clicking on the aeroplane icon at the top of your profile page, there you'll also find your own url link. This is an integral link as it will lead any payments from anywhere due to you into your bank account or PayPal account. If you don't have one, I would encourage you to have it set up as you can make payments and have all payments from anyone to you.
So who pays you? Your first niche website's customers who click on your product will earn you the commissions from your supplier. The Bootcamp niche will earn you the commission from WA newbies who paid to join premium, and as long as they keep up their monthly payments the commision will be yours as long as you remain a member too.
Next, how do I find customers...well this is where it gets trickier, and I'll be the last authority to tell you about it. Basically it's about getting your blogs noticed by google or the internet or when someone clicks on the keyword that will link to your site (and there're more than 2 billion internet surfers I hear). I better stop this part here or some WA members will be rolling on the floor laughing their heads off (rotfltho).
Last month, my son thought I should join all the social media to help bring my websites into focus of the buying power. So I did, I joined Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and a whole lot more.
I had to set up several more email accounts so I could specialize what mails I want to have in each address not to confuse myself with so many info into one mail alone. eg; WA one email address. Social network, another email. All other internet sites like clickbank, google+, amazon etc. another email and so on.
Last but not least, make as many friends as you can. Click on the green follow buttons, and they'll follow you back. The members often write about their experiences and more often than not gives links for free programs to help us.
Do read their blogs, join in on the discussions, give your input or ask questions, there's always someone who knows or who's asking the same question. and don't ignore the comments there. They're a goldmine of information. Someone said the only stupid questions is the one that's not asked.
Phew! I think that's all I can spare. Perhaps someone will see this and give you a better picture my dear. Most of all, remember this is a WA university training program, so go through the training at your own pace and listen to the videos.
You'll get there eventually. Don't expect instant results like the get rich quick scammer's sales talk.
God bless.....
Shirley
I am right there with you!!
Whats worse is when you actually need the money, Yesterday , I was trying to check the QSR, etc., out and initially thought OH yea, this will be Great, but SOOO crazy, If I find what I like then I have to determine between getting traffic High but competion LOW< seems almost impossible to me based on my keyword searches....
Thank you for that Shirley, I know I wont see results no time soon, I guess I was feeling like I wouldn't see any at all at the rate I'm going. But you have given me a wealth of information whether you know it or not. Thanks for bringing it all into perspective for me. Sounds like you have done your lessons well. Sometimes things don't sink in to well with me especially when I get information overload. It gets all tangled up in my brain and none of it makes any sense. But you ironed it out for me, simplified it into terms I could understand. Thank you so much for helping me. Believe me, I know it will take time, but I was really starting to think that I will never get there if I cant even get past the first lesson. That's why I was tripping. I want this to work, I want to be successful so bad, I will never give up. Just knowing I have people like yourself supporting me and encouraging me to push on makes me feel a whole lot better.
Well there! I'm glad you've a different perspective now Jane dear. I'll be here anytime you want to vent, so will the WA family.
Internet marketing is a serious business as it involves money eventually. Sometimes members do not understand there are rules to observe, like in any college or universities, so I would like to start you off with a link to Kyle's tutorial: WA Spam is a NO NO!
Kyle says it's alright to rant, so it's alright to 'have at it' when you get mad with anyone or yourself. His tutorial is just a guide to remember and is in no way a reflection of you or anybody's actions, so do read it and put it away for future use in the event you come across wrong doers.
Anyway, have fun blogging and reading other blogs, and making friends here in the WA family dear....blessings,
Shirley

Just don't be afraid to ask for help from me or anyone else!
Hey Dan, On Lake Sydney Lanier where Live, They rent these things called fly boards. Have you ever seen them? Its the most awesome, funnest new water toy out there, If I did a thing on jet boats could I promote these things on the lake where I live, or would I want to promote them straight from the factory any where and every where I could promote them. They also have these things called Jet~Lev that are way way cool but they cost 100,000 dollars to own one. and I'm not sure where they would rent those, but would that not be something to sell because not a lot of people are looking to buy one at that price, or is it?
