My Passion
My passion is my crafts, if it be sewing,knitting, repairing items, making cards,cooking, or baking a cake,
I seemed to have got lost along the way, I have a craft room, that has not had me in there, doing my passion, I questioned myself, why. As I used to get so much joy from it, I do everything with love, even if I was repairing an item for another person, I would see the person wearing it, to me, it was about seeing the person, happy with what I done for them, not about the money.
I have no qualification in what I do, yet I have 30 years experience. Each year, my daughter would come to me, a month or so before her birthday and say, this is the cake I would like for my birthday. On her 21st birthday she asked for a moo cow, as her cake.
I never go out and buy the sponge, I bake it myself, and then shape it to the desired shape, on this occasions I made cup cakes to go with it, with little moo cows to go on top.
It is not just about baking a cake, its all about planning, how many hours it will take, drawing them, buying the ingredients, icing, having the correct equipment. Also I found the hardest part, was shaping the little moo cows and making the grass look grass. Not easy. I never did any of my passion ever again it stopped there. I question myself why? So now I am trying to find my way back to my passion, not easy at all.

Nice post! It sounds like you really have a gift here. I did a lot of baking in my earlier life, professionally as a chef and also at home for the kids' birthdays, etc as well as for special occasions such as graduations, etc....Fly with this, I am sure you can provide a LOT of good information to the likes of me and others!!
