My images will not upload using the "Add Media" button. I keep getting a HTTP Error. Site Support telling me to use FTP to upload images.
Anyone else having this issue?
Hi
I am having the same problem
I have google researched and have found several references to this problem
https://themeskills.com/fix-http-error-when-uploading-images-to-wordpress/
Being the most friendly response
I have tried most, and it seems to be a PHP memory issue
I have tried having my hosting company increase this for me, however they have responded, that I need ns1.mywahosting.com, whoever or whereever this is, to check whether they can make the adjustment.
Anybody know, who I am to contact in respect of this, as this is related to Wealthy Affiliate?
Cheers
There's a few things to look at and some of them have already been covered by our friends - size, name and time. Sometimes you just need to refresh the page and then you'll discover that the image has been uploaded already but just wasn't showing up.
The other thing to look at is the type of file. If it's straight from your camera it may the the wrong format. WordPress likes .jpg .png and .gif If it's not one of those then that could be the issue.
FTP is not that hard. This video will get you started How to Back Up Your Website With FileZilla via FTP Upload the file to httpdocs > wp-content > uploads then create a folder called "images". You'll be able to use a plugin called "Add From Server" to import the uploaded images into your Media Library.
Try to rename your images HTTP error uploading images, its simple to resolve, rename your picture
There are no commas, apostrophes or special characters in the name. Renaming didn't work but thank you very much for the suggestion.
We all have our hick-ups with this, sometimes a few hours later doing nothing everything is working again
Hmmm... I uploaded images earlier on my website around 2pm and they worked well for me. Make sure your images are not too big in size. Reduce them to 800 pixel or lower if possible. I received an error when my images were too big in size.
Please let me know what you found as a fix for you... I am curious - just in case I run into the same issue in the future. Thanks!

I used to have that problem, it was very frustrating and luckily for me it was just a wordpress bug that was easily resolved by hitting the refresh button, always worth trying the simple things first...

Has anybody had any experience with Waffal either building your own Waffals or as a Waffal affiliate?
It is the first time I hear about Waffal. It looks like this website helps you to get exposure which is always good, but when it comes to backlinks, I will be very careful.
The type of low-quality backlinks that you might get from this website might increase the spam score of your website which is not good because you do not know where the links will be coming from.
Hello,
I haven't had any experience with Waffal. However, if you're thinking about writing for them, I know the WA trainings will help you to earn income. What are you looking to do there?
Heard of them before but only just looked into what Waffal really is. The whole thing sounds kinda lame. I'm looking for feedback before mentioning Waffal to my readers. Also whether or not to join as an affiliate. Thanks for your response.
Gotcha. In reading about them, other than writing for them, and having WA in your pocket, I can't say they seem like something of benefit to folks. They seem vague, yet overly descriptive.

Are links that are cloaked by the plug-in Pretty Link turned into "nofollow" links or are they "dofollow" links?

Has Anyone had any experience with the new WordPress plug-in PromoBox? Good or bad :)
Careful of popups. People tend hate popups. But having said that. If you can control it and can configure what and when it comes up the yes it can boost sales.
You may want to take a look at an article I did a couple of days ago. The Secret to Building a Million $ Online Business! well one of them secrets, at least.
