FINE ART or HOME DECOR Affiliates - Anybody Out There?

Last Update: March 20, 2014

Hi everyone!

I'm starting to get a good rhythm going on my first WA website, ArtCompletes.Us. It is still obviously a work in progress (I'm only on Course 2, Lesson 6), but I would love any feedback that you care to give!

I've been trying for a few days now to find some other affiliate marketers that are working in the fine art or home decor niche. If any of you are out there, I would love to get a small community going and see what some of you have been working on/exchange tips and ideas. Once we get some real traffic moving, maybe we could all work on promoting each others' websites? I'll send you some of my traffic, you send me some of yours!

Any takers? :)

Thanks for reading!

Holly

Hi Holly! Found this page when I searched for artists' website on WA. I'm glad to know there are so many artists here. I'm very new to this affiliate marketing...like yesterday new. Anyway, would like to know more about what you're doing. I'm an artist. I paint and also draw designs which I upload on other sites for home decor, etc. It doesn't make much but it's a start.

I like the sound of this in theory certainly Holly.

As mentioned by some of the experienced members in your recent blog, some are cautious re revealing their work here.

As the name suggests it is an affiliate community (the work of an artist is not necessarily respected so much as just being a right click/copy/paste away from being theirs).

In time, as trust builds & integrity is established, you work out who you are able to trust and leveraging becomes a mutual win-win. I'll be keen to see how this works Holly, I had similar aspirations upon joining here, &, although I know & trust some artists here now, I generally stick to nurturing my art connections/networks via external communities. I have developed connections in art networks going back over 25 years (before the www was upon us). Though, I have yet to mention WA to any of these, for good reason (again, as mentioned in the comments of your previous posting).

I have no authority in the Home decor niche, though imagine you would find many more connections here in that area.

Best of luck ~ damien

Glad to have you here, Sierra! If you find any other WA members who are working in the arts niche, kindly direct them here and we can get a little community going. :)

Hi! I'm also creating a site about fine art prints, so I would like to join.
I am done with course 1, and still thinking about going premium, so I would like to hear some experience.

I live in RI....There are 3 states that are not allowed to promote as an affiliate with Amazon..."tax" reasons...and RI is one of them. But I just found another affiliate site that I'm going to sign up with. They are linked with Share A Sale of which I am a member. Wil start a web page with this idea today...Don't forget my e-mail address..!! Thanx..

That is something I would be interested in, but have no idea how to get started promoting products that deal with home decor...always been interested in that. Was a house painter, interior and exterior , for many years....Lets keep in touch...!!

Absolutely! Amazon alone has tons of home decor products and wall art (which is what I'm working in). It's a fairly expensive market, too, which means higher commissions if you're in the affiliate program. If you do decide to get a site going, please let me know! I'd love to work together.
