A Historical Background Of Independence Day

It happens that there is a story behind every success of freedom and liberty of the country like the Independence Day of United States. Its history began way back July 4, 1776 wherein the Declaration of Independence is being proclaimed at the Continental Congress in the place of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The US at that time was being held by 13 colonies and there were growing chaos upon its colonies because of unpaid taxes. In 1774, the 13 colonies had sent their representatives to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to form its First Continental Congress. It was the war against their invaders at the same time stepping stone for their Independence.
After a series of members and arguments casting out votes for the declaration of independence the final decision has been made in the afternoon of July 4. In order to make it official, John Hanrock which is the president of Continental Congress truly signed the Declaration of independence. And by the 8th of July it was read for the first time in the public wherein it was announced in Philadelphia's Independence Square.
Up until August, the signing of the Declaration was completed and it was accepted by the body that July 4 is the official anniversary of United States as their legal Independence Day. By July 4, 1777, the Whole US celebrated its first Independence Day celebration. The start of 1800's, parades, picnics and fireworks are being practiced as one way of celebrating its Independence Day.
