I've always loved the song centered around the ROCKY movies. The Eye of the Tiger pours out FIERCE DETERMINATION relaying the message that nothing's going to get in your way!
WE ALL LOVE SYLVESTER!
Sylvester Stallone played that role perfectly, just as he did in First Blood. In both movies, his unending force to prevail was always his first and foremost action. It was a kind of survival mode that he manifested. He had a forced strength.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
The Eye of the Tiger actually means going in for the kill. It's referenced as the moment when a tiger begins to pounce on his target. It's all about the look before succeeding in what he set out to do.
