Focused Strategy For Keyword Integration
The title may scare some people away, but I think it captures the essence of what I want to share.
Until now, I have made over 20 posts on my site www.HelpGetFit.com. Although traffic is picking up, I find it is not at the level I would like it to be. True, I cover more topics than one would hope for in a niche, but my focus is long term and all those things will come together to form one, more complex topic.
Within those 20+ posts there are a number of reoccurring topics, however, I noticed, that I have not tied them together with keywords. They all have different target keywords. Hence, my new plan. I sat down one day and started listing relevant keywords, then ran them through Jaaxy, picked up more on the way, and finally analysed them. With a list of several hundred keywords, I was able to pick out the best ones, which I can reuse in multiple posts.
Best thing was, that with such a long list of keywords, I was able to pick 5 out (for now), all of which have over 3500+ monthly searches, under 200 competing sites, and over 85 SEO power.
So if in the next 25 posts I incorporate 1 of these keyword for each, this will mean I will have used a very strong keyword at least 5 times.
In the meantime, I have started 2 new websites and am setting up a third one. For all of them, I have applied a similar principle. This means, that right from the start, they will all have a very focused strategy, where the keywords will be integrated and repeated. Can't wait to see the results of my plan. Will keep everyone updated on the progress.

Sounds like a good plan will re think mine I was going for the low hanging fruit thing under 100 competing sites will need to re look the SEO power thanks for sharing
Katie,
Don't get me wrong, include those low hanging fruit, but if you spend a day brainstorming keywords, you will find low hanging fruit with high traffic - one of mine has 2 competing sites with 3788 monthly searches!!! As I mentioned, these are my main ones which I want to repeat in all posts, however, in doing so, I found others lower traffic keywords which I can still apply in single posts.

That is a good idea it is finding the balance and making it natural without it being obvious, something I need a lot more work on
