Where has Helen Been? Having a holiday in hospital!
Just a quick note to all my friends.'
I haven't been in touch lately as I have spent most of my time, since March, in hospital. My body had become a well, retaining water better than many farm dams!
I am home now and sadly observing all my new weeds. Back to gardening it seems.
So it will take me a while to catch up but I have started.
Now I received a little joke for we women. Hopefully men get a laugh too.

Good to hear you got that episode behind you and are feeling better.
Nature does not wait as I have seen here too. With the first autumn rain that finally came in September, suddenly the weeds appear. But I must say it also produces lovely wildflowers of which some are considered endangered species.

It has occurred to me that I have not seen nor heard from you in some time. I am happy to see you are still around. I have not been around here very much as my rank on here indicates. Our conversations have been memorable to me, the building of your home, etc. I am glad to hear you have gone home to get that back in order!
