Merry Christmas to all my friends who do celebrate this holiday. This season is pretty busy here, both with us and nature.

Here is one of our little visitors. We had about 6 wallaby mums visiting this year. This little one is one of the few still in the pouch.

And here is an Australia Christmas carol for you. (Please note the ending is promotional but I couldn't find a 'clean' copy.

That's a nice headline and I like it. You know, we're doing business online globally, there are some people out there who have religious beliefs different than ours. So, it's better to be careful with the headline that we use, and you're great with that headline.

"Merry Christmas To Those Who Celebrate It."

Merry Christmas too! :)

Thanks Gom, I hate political correctness. It's getting so we won't be able to communicate at all soon, without offending anyone.

My belief is we are all different and can live our lives as we will as long as we don't hurt anyone. However continuing this I don't condemn any religious beliefs and I expect the same courtesy back. Some people in the christian area seem to be bending over backward to erase any tradition we have!

1

Easy on the religious messages....lol!

1

What religious message! For those mostly in the christian area, funnily enough, seem to be the ones mostly offended by the christian traditions. They can read political incorrectness in just about anything.

My policy is to live and let live.

Merry Christmas to you my friend!

1

Thanks Eva, and same to you too.

Thanks Tom, I did look at most of these but I liked the graphics of the one I posted.

I just realised you are in Tenterfield. We lived in Bentley, and often drove to Tenterfield to head either south or north. Once we even entered via the west (we got lost just after Goondiwindi and didn't intend to do this). I like the Bald Mountain wineries near Girraween.

Well saying that I hope your Christmas was great.

What a gorgeous little fellow!
Merry Christmas to you Helen, from Melbourne :)

1

Thanks Mia, I hope your Christmas was very merry too. Now I have to think on how to avoid NYE invites. I can't stay up that late anymore!

Helen,
Thanks that was so cute who cares about the ad at the
end it was adorable :)
Have a wonderful holiday,
Susan

Good heavens, here I was thinking I have been following you for ages. Well that's rectified now!

I lived in the bush and spent a couple of Christmases there. But our utes weren't rusty. Pretty hot but Tracy hit on Christmas Eve. That dampened and cooled things somewhat. But we were rained in for a couple of months. Food and grog was delivered by plane. Boy those guys were good. Not a bottle of grog was broken!

Helen,
You are going to think me a bit off but I have always wanted
to visit the outback of Aussie land it fascinates me. To do a
walk about - but I do believe there are many dangers I would
need to learn before attempting this.
Thanks for sharing with me sounds like you had an exciting
Christmas and that is great!
Susan

Susan, no I don't think you are off but do learn about it first. I was on a cattle station and had a huge family support group. Although riding over a Taipan is a bit strange.

I kept thinking, I hope Joy (my horse) likes snakes and isn't spooked by them. She ignored it and didn't spook!

The land is immense with unexpected hidden treasures. I am sure you would like doing a walk about.

An Australian one for you,

One brown boomer!

Classic Helen, you can not beat an old rusty Holden ute, awesome.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Alex.

1

Fortunately ours weren't rusty. With all the seasonal rain they would have rusted away.

Hope your Christmas was greatly merry too, and you have a prosperous New Year.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Helen!

1

Thanks Zed, hope yours was merry and is happy too.

Hey Helen,
Thanks for posting this picture!! They are so cute!!!

Thanks Elaine. We get so much amusement from them. At one time there were about 6 mummies hanging out here at the back door. We would see a pouch with both a head and tail sticking out. Those Joeys are contortionists!

When one turns in the pouch it looks like a punching session from our viewpoint.

Hope your Christmas was great.
