No matter what niche you are in it isn’t about products and services.

Your business is about what RESULTS you can get for your clients.

❌ If you are new to marketing online you might be getting fixated on what products or services you are or will be offering eg. is it the cheapest, what sort of commission does it offer, what is the next big bonus I can offer❓

It is easy to get caught up on products, benefits and features and miss the point and that is:

“What RESULTS do all those things provide for your visitor?”

Set aside what products and services you can offer and instead think about what is the best way you can serve your client.🔥🔥

If money 💰 was no object how could you have the deepest impact and serve your visitors/clients at the highest level

These are the RESULTS you should strive to achieve for your audience, then build your affiliate products and offers around achieving that aim.

So tell us in the comments “what is your business REALLY about❓”

What results do you offer to your site visitors❓

Hi Heidi,
That is a great reminder that I can get so wrapped up in products and all the other things, I sometimes forget that the viewer came to my website to learn something and find more information about my topic.

If I concentrate on the information service, all the other will fall into place as long as the visitor has a good experience.

Bill

Very true Bill, almost always they have a problem they want solved, they have a desired result that they are seeking. Provide that and you are on a winner.

Hi Heidi,
Thanks for your kind and relative comments. I try to be as subtle as possible without hiding the product/service.

But information is my most important product.

"If money 💰 was no object how could you have the deepest impact and serve your visitors/clients at the highest level❓"

That question really gets to the heart of it for me Heidi. When I got started, my train was on the wrong track. Finally got it on the right track now and am restarting my journey.

Greg

It is wonderful to hear you are on the right track Greg, some times it takes a bit of doing and trial and error to find your true calling.

I have always made it a point to somehow include what my business is about in the actual name of the business. To me it is free marketing. I owned a mortgage company named Best Rate Mortgage” for over 10 years. It told people that I was in the mortgage business and I had the best rates lol. I still smirk when I see companies named “ABC Financial”. I always say to myself, I wonder what they do?

So true Lew, be loud and proud about what you do and how you help people, we don't want people to be guessing about what solutions we provide.

I want to provide the best possible information about providing the best life for your dog/dogs. What to do, where to get the best equipment and services + +

I want my visitors to have one central hub for their information requirements about their pets.

This is my first part of my business. I will apply the same approach for several other niches I have up my sleeve at the moment.

From a dog lover that sounds like a great niche and results worth working towards. We all want the best for our fur-kids and people will pay to receive the results they want.

Customer service is important for any business. You have been an affiliate marketer for a while. Do you find people come back to you?

For example if you have a blog about pets. You recommend Woof Woof as the best dog food to keep a dog healthy and happy. Customer clicks on your link and buys Woof Woof from Petsmart. Customer like the way his dog responds to Woof Woof.

Dog eats all the Woof Woof so now the customer needs more. Does he come back to Heidisblog for more or does he go back to Pet Smart? Later he needs a new leash. He now knows that Pet Smart has all kinds of products for pets. So why would he now come back to Heidisblog instead of going right to Pet Smart?

The customer will probably repurchase from PetSmart but if the blog has good information, it is highly possible that they will return and click another affiliate link for additional products.

Adding massive value will make you stand out from the crowd.

Maybe you can add value that PetSmart can't. Additional enticement for the customer to come back to your site to purchase.

So you might have an all-natural meal planner that they access for free with their purchase. He's impressed he got something of value for free. He looks around your site and notes that you provide training to help him solve his dog's behavioural issues.

He's just bought dog food, so he's not in the market for a lead yet, but when his dog becomes a complete nutter, he doesn't just need a collar and lead he needs a solution to the behaviour and he remembers that you provide that and comes back.

Provide information for free and charge for the solution/implementation of that advice.
