Why proofread before publishing?
G'Day all at WA,
When we publish our posts or pages, we are doing so to attract readers. If the writing is littered with bad grammar and spelling mistakes it makes it very hard to read. If it's hard to read then we will lose our readers very quickly.
It's not that hard after we finish our work and it is ready to publish to put it aside for awhile, then come back to it and read it again, slowly. If we read it quickly we read what we think we have written not what is on the page. This way when someone else reads it they will not get frustrated with hard to read articles and leave. Another way to check your work is to ask someone else to read it.
It is amazing how many sites I come across like this, were a little bit of care would make them come across much more proffesionally.
Cheers Jamie

I proof read my blogs many times but I will still miss something occasionally. Good to keep in mind, thanks :-)
Just a little bee in my bonnet, we all miss some things but not many things, cheers Jamie
Yes, I hate it when I find something i've "overlooked" ;-)
