Looking forward to getting to the beach soon
Hi Everyone!
I have just been looking through some photos on my computer. Last year, we managed to get to see the sea when the restrictions were lifted for a while in the UK.
Fingers crossed we will be able to go to the coast again this summer, the dogs love it and there is nothing like watching a greyhound do zoomies on a beach!
I hope all of you manage to take a break this year, even if you have to stay in your own country. Exploring the country where I live is as exciting as going abroad for me!

Fortunately, for us in Florida, our beaches were never really closed. And there are some really great beaches here.
Thankfully I live near the beach here in NI so I can take my dog there regularly. We were there this morning and he loves digging in the sand and having a swim.
Hopefully better days are not too far away.

I shouldn't complain as I live by some beautiful countryside but I do miss the sound of the sea!

I feel so sad that the UK is in such a tight lockdown. Hasn't time proven that these don't work? The studies done in the US showed that the riskiest place to actually catch Covid was in the home! The safest was restaurants & bars!

Hi Hazel. I live in FL about an hour from the beach each way, east and west. Have been to the beach 3 times in the 2 years I've lived here, and went to see the manatees once. The beach is my go-to place for peace and relaxation, but I haven't taken advantage of it as much as I would like to.
