Today I have been going through my previous blog posts on my websites and putting in internal links to other posts on my website This means visitors can go to my other posts for explanations of phrases or ideas they may not be familiar with.
This is recommended by Kyle in the affiliate bootcamp training and to me makes sense. As Kyle says linking to other articles on your own site suggests that you rate these articles and think they will help your readers. If you only have links from your post to external sites it suggests that you do not think that your other posts are worth linking to.
However. I noticed that the AIOSEO ratings out of 100 fell by a few points on some of the articles. As I wasn't altering anything else on the articles it must have been the internal links causing the drop.
Although I don't worry too much about these ratings I did wonder whether you can have too many internal links from one post.
