The Tip of The Iceberg

I love a challenge and creating an online business is definitely that. The only real difference between an online business and a brick and mortar business is the physical aspect and cot of the brick and mortar. Basically every other aspect is the same.

In each case to be successful, to stand on the podium, to rank on the first page of the Social Media platforms like Google, Bing and Yahoo, you need to have passion, you need to get your fingers burned and you need to put in the time, and money.

I remember having to get up and be out on the soccer field early morning or on the track after school to train. Why to teams become family? Because the other members have the same goal as you. They want to win and will sacrifice time with their friends and family to achieve that place on the podium.

As a member of Wealthy Affiliate, you have become a community/family because we all have the same motivation and dreams. We are willing to face failure at the beginning knowing that with the right training and guidance we will succeed.

I am sure we all remember what happened to the Titanic. It was not the tip of the iceberg that sank it. It was what was below the surface. The same can be said about those who are successful. What you see on the surface is only the tip of what they had to do, to sacrifice to be number one on the podium.

Are you disciplined enough to accept the challenge? Leave me a comment or like.

Fantastic lesson in your closing comment, Harvey,

"... It was what was below the surface. The same can be said about those who are successful. What you see on the surface is only the tip of what they had to do, to sacrifice to be number one on the podium".

Words of wisdom from a true warrior who has been on the battlefield! Kudos!

Thanks Kaju, there are so many members that think this is an overnight thing and by just creating a website and creating a few. Posts, they are going to generate an income in two or three months.

No way Harvey, its all about long-term consistency! We know that.

I am not very disciplined but I'm working on it. It's getting better each day and the wonderful people here at WA are a part of it.

That is okay Taianne, like everything else, it comes with time and perseverance.

Very true in what you are saying. It is important to keep going, especially through the bad times.

Spot on Eden, it i not all good times, there is also the down times, when you need to buckle under and press a head.

My discipline improves daily! As I slowly reach my goals I realize more and more what is required to be successful at this. It took me 4.5 months to reach things I set as my 3 month goal. I am happy that I reached them at all! Alot of people would have stopped when they didn't reach their goals in 3 months. I am truly appreciative of post like yours that continue to give the motivation needed to keep pushing forward! Like the pep talks after soccer practice or during half time! Thanks for the motivating words Harvey!

Thank you Frank. Like most things we do, we have to have a vision of where we are going and then fill in the in between on how we are going to get there. As the saying goes “sow and steady progress.”

Yep, step by step process is the key.
