Yes, you can fix that, but you need to modify the banner code.

You can follow this guide that is provided by Amazon on how to change the banner size. Here is the guide:

"To change the size of widget, add the following parameters to the widget template:"

1. width='WIDTH_VALUE'
Replace WIDTH_VALUE with any valid integer value between 150 to 800. This is the width of your widget in pixels.

You can see the value of width and height in banner code such this code:

Value of width and height of this banner code is 120 and 240. Try to change that code in your banner code.

I have the same problem as Mckm with the banner not fitting. I have tried a number of times to correct the height and width like you said, but it doesn't seem to work. The banner always defaults back to the same size. Any suggestions?

Go to your wordpress control panel.

On your left side menu search for the "Appearance" button and click on it.

It will come out another set of sub-menu. Then find the words "widgets" and then click on it.

Then you will see the title "Available Widgets" starting from Archive, Calendar and so on, scroll down and you will see the "TEXT" widget.

Click on the "Text" and click "Add Widget". You have successfully added the text widget.

Then you can see the text widget available on your right side. Click on it and the paste your banner code in it.

I know it's me. I'm doing something wrong. I'm positive that i was using the code for the wrong size before. So I switched to right size and now only half of the image shows up and the remainder of the box is just empty/white.

Hi Fadhil, i followed your instructions, and it comes out as text, no banner. I'm sure i did something wrong, just not sure where. I tried 3 times. Help please.
