Starting as an entrepreneur hasn't been easy, I know most of you will know this. I've heard many recommendations from marketers lately, how my product is actually 3 products, and I understand the approach you guys are taking. This is not a defensive post, I will try to explain a little bit of the context of why I started sci-fox.

Last post I was referring to my education project, sci-fox. This project to improve the quality of our education comes from long and frustrated feelings. I have ADHD, which means that I have problems concentrating and paying attention for long periods of time, also, I'm always distracted by everything, my thoughts, the environment, people passing by, etc. I've also had some problems with authority, but they didn't earn my disrespect for anything. You see, many rules just don't make sense to me. This "ability" to be uncomfortable with everything has lead me to always be dissatisfied with the quality of my educational system. All the promises, all the goals, and idealism they fed me were lies.

"But you just graduated, you even haven't begun to work". I already dedicated 5 years completely to medicine. The whole deal, all-nighters, infinite cups of coffee, cramming books before tests... It's all crap, really, it's bullshit. In just one year I managed more than in those five years. Don't get me wrong, I also learned a lot during those years, but not enough as I could have and investing way less time.

Learning is amazing. I've read articles and books showing the amazing benefits of learning. A researcher couldn't see in 3D because he was born with a problem in his eyes. Even after surgery corrected his sight, it was too late. His brain no longer developed the necessary connections between brain cells to have the ability to see in 3D. He was interested in this subject so he decided to study the disease, a lot. He learned so much about it that after years of learning, he gained the skill of seeing in 3D.

This clinical case helps us see the raw power of our brain's capacity to change and adapt to its environment (Through a process called neurogenesis and neuroplasticity). Your brain might literally be the most complicated thing to exist in the universe.

This capacity has its benefits, but it works both ways. I've also had many episodes of depression throughout my life, starting when I was a middle-school kid. This had to do with my genetics and my upbringing. Feeling okay has never been something normal to me, until 2 years ago.

I learned how to be productive, how to learn, and how to feel better using a path that uses all these 3 concepts, at the same time. It's not only easy but can be used by everyone. Even if you have disadvantages. There's a lot more to this story, let me know if anyone is interested in this content.

Hi Hans
I'm a musician and sportsman (at 68 now, take that with a pinch of salt)... what I mean is that I grew up focusing on music and sport. My profile tells a little of my story so I won't repeat it here.
I've been interested in developments in our understanding of the brain and mind since around 1980. So without knowing the specific applications to which you refer in this post, I understand the challenge of presenting enough, of related subjects, for the whole to actually be useful and not just leave a pile of unanswered questions.
:-)
Richard
