The big game Yoast v Wealthy Affiliate
Ladies and gentlement welcome to fight night.
In the right-hand corner is Wealthy Affiliate a 2 mill monster who is ranked number one in the highly rated domain hosting extraordinary.
In the left corner is a rising champion called the "Plug in" aka Yoast. Yoast has rising through the ranks to become a great SEO wrestler.
In the middle of the ring is yours truly called Middleman refereeing this stoush.
Yoast went on a new training schedule making the pro version faster and more reliable however the script is faulty leaving him vulnerable and in need of a good bashing.
In the pre fight press conference when I highlighted that the new version was creating problems Yoast screamed loudly if your domain man can't do it change him to someone that can fight"
The big WA shouted back that Allinone was a better fighter, and a better option.anyway
After a lot or verbiage Yoast changed his training and it worked. However old habits are hard to beat and he failed on the next hit.
Yoast asked me to pacify WA
Wa told me Yoast was wrong.
Yoast came storming back to be knocked down by WA.
Me in the middle passing shots between the two.
WA is a clear points winner at round eight and Yoast is on the ropes,
Can they come back
Wait for the next exciting round between two great fighters that affect my everyday existence.

Ps I just want it over and working it is costing me time and money and I sit in the middle passing insults.

In plain English, Peter, what are the problems you've been having? I use Yoast premium so it matters to me.

As you enter a page or post there is a message
Yoast SEO was unable to create the database tables required and as such will not function correctly.
Please read this help article to find out how to resolve this problem.
In short both denied liability as I contacted support.
Evidently two files are not loading

Yoast is doing a lot of work to get this working and in fact are using my site to find the issues.
Yoast 14.4 is the problem so if you are not there stay where you are.
Free version does not have the problems.

I've got Yoast Premium 14.0.4 installed on websites hosted at Wealthy Affiliate and DreamHost, running on GeneratePress, and I'm not seeing the errors you're seeing. Have you tried deactivating your other plugins and temporarily switching to a different theme?
Maybe you could revert to a previous version that was working.

Thanks Marion, I am using generate Press with WordPress so same same but I will try the other plug ins one by one.

Yoast has been fixed with a new site speed module.
I ran a few tests and it seems to help the mobile speed by a few points so now I am getting close to 100 on the WA speed barometer and 100 on desktop.

Seems to me the fight originally between Toast, oops I meant Yoast, and AllinOne. Been messing with both of them long before I happened across WA.
