When you feel down
Yesterday I was discouraged. I led myself to believe that quitting my job was a bad idea ( I still think that ) and tryiing this affiliate thing (well I was mad, so I said "thing" in my home language) wasn't working.
Simply because there were things I was looking forward to for Christmas and unfortunately, I won't be able to get or do because those things need money.
So I logged off and did my hair. Cried a bit. Prayed a lot and just gave myself the rest of the day off. Although my sleep wasn't that great (thanks to toddler tantrums and a bucketload of anxiety) I woke up unexpectedly keen to work this morning.
Last night, my husband wanted to share my link to friends. I felt that the website wasn't ready. So he asked when it will be. I hesitated to respond because at that point I just wanted to cancel my account and look for a job. So he started reading articles and gave me feedback to which I added to those errors myself.
So, this morning I am keen on trying to fix some of the comments he made, my soul was uplifted. Uplifted because I had something to look forward to today, which reminded me of what I used to do when I worked, to fix problems.
So today, I have a few article ideas that I want to research on. But I will be on Youtube cleaning up my website.
There is a channel on Youtube called "Website Learners" that I'll be visiting today.

I think it is super important to have people around you that are going to give you a pull up when you fall down. That extra bit of encouragement to keep going. Rely on the strength of your husband and other supports to get you unstuck. Glad you are back on track

Yes, it trully is. WA is pushing me outside my comfort zone, I'm usually a reserved person. I had to tell a few more friends on what I am doing so they can keep me accountable. Also hoping on people in this space to do the same!

Thank you for posting this. I think we all have these days. Days where we regret taking the plunge and trying to do something outside conventional work. We all read all these success stories and hope that we too can join this group and not be tied down to a job we probably did not even like. I'm in the same boat as you and yes, everything you said really does strike a chord!
All i can say is, don't give up. Many bloggers with beautiful sites have poured in hours and hours of work into it, and it's not something that can be achieved in just a couple of months. And don't forget, you're a momma of a young child, and there will be times that sleepless nights will totally drain you of your creative juices. Give yourself the space to be frustrated, but get back right on what your goal is!
I don't know if this will help, but these are the my daily WA routine
• Research niche group - 60 mins
• research key words - 5 mins
• prepare blog points - 10-15 mins
• write - blocks of 60 mins.
This way I'm giving myself achievable tasks, and also tending to my home (food prep, daughter, pets, plants...etc)
You are an awesome momma! You are doing this to better yourself and to provide for your family! Nothing greater than that :)

Thank you for the encouragement. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one. I have 2 kids almost 3 and 9 months.

When life gets you down and you feel like there's no hope, most times you will soon get a break through. I'm so sorry that you were feeling depressed and discouraged. I am happy that you're not giving up but still fighting to get to the road of success. I know you can do it. WA community is behind you. To your success Gugu!
