List building incentive added...Need your input, team!
Ok, I have finally added an incentive (free book) to build my list.
I would really appreciate it if one or two of you guys (gals) would sign up for the offer so I can test that everything works ok.

Update: Thanks to those that looked at this for me, I think I have it running smoothly now, and after Wayne's advice have unsubscribed everyone that signed up to test this for me!

I got the link through straight away. I clicked it and reached a page that had a 404 error message on it.
No confirmation e mail yet.
I am really interested in seeing your list and your book as I am in the middle of the same project.
This will not be considered promoting or breaking WA rules, but a learning tool. :)

Done. Seemed to work OK except for the 404 page I got after I confirmed by subscription.

Hey Ray, thanks for testing this, I have a "confirmation pending" status for your email. The email was sent according to Aweber, probably got shoved in your spam folder!
Be careful this may be considered promoting, you can't ask people to subscribe to your list.

It works, but after I downloaded the ebook, then confirmed my subscription, I was taken back to the download page with the same message and not a thank you for confirming.
Then on that page a pop up appears to add me to the newsletter. Do you want this to happen?

I must have something mixed up! I do have a thank you page which you should have been directed to, and I'm not sure why the pop up appears on the download page, I've been playing around with some plugins, probably still got one of em running.
I'm off to check and fix this right now.
