Memorial Day would the fallen veterans rejoice or be mad at US
In this United States of America, if the fallen veterans could look down and asked what did we die for?
What answer could we give them that would be a match for their lives?

I have four brothers who served and a daughter-in-law who is currently still serving military. Yes the sacrifices are great and I thank all branches of the military for their services. I prayed that the day would never come that us civilians will never have to take out to protect this country. Thank God for our military
While I am sad at the current condition we are experiencing, and as a Veteran (USMC) myself, I think the answer to your thoughtful question is not an easy one. History has shown us that the rise and fall of all human endeavors is cyclic and History is written by the victors.
That being said, I believe at God has given us free choice and as "Water seeks it's own level", so too we will advance though our own trial and errors in time to a better understanding of our choices.
Maybe some day we will rise to a acceptable civil level and until that day you may have "break a few eggs to make an omelette".
I for one am proud to have served my country on that journey and I pray that someday those actions will not be required.

Thank you for your service and me to served proudly. As veterans we really appreciate what is here because we saw first hand some other places. I wrote this because I think people need to reflect on why and how we have this freedom of choice and who gave us this choice - the fallen soldiers. I truly believe that some people had not seen a hardship especially like places where one has to fight to eat or get a drink of water but is ready to fight because someone looks different then them. It is a sad day in America when we choose hate to love. Is that what our fellow soldiers died for?
I think they would be very disappointed in the way our country has evolved. I know, as a veteran myself, I am. I fought for freedom and the Constitution and it is now being distorted immensely.
I totally agree with you and this is why I did this blog. I'm a veteran and those that have not served seem to don't care what happens to this country, just concern with themselves.
They know what they died for, but I think if they knew what the country is like now, they'd be very upset.
