Change your thoughts; Change your life.
This motto is my motto for 2016 and lets me explain what it means to me. For years, I have been focusing on the way things are and occasionally I would think about the way I wanted things to be. Reflecting on my past, I discovered that where my thoughts were most focused that was my reality.
I focused on my job and paying the bills and occasionally thought about having my own business.I truly wanted my own business but I kept pushing it aside because of the bills and work and half concentrating on learning and developing a business. I think now that I didn’t want to put forth the extra effort to do the learning, so I was content to work for others.
When you are unemployed and time has passed one by to the point that companies look for a younger individual (they don’t say that out loud) and my point here is why they would ask about the year one graduated from high school, especially when one has college degrees.One starts to think about what happen to time and the dreams?
Starting this year I’ve decided to change my thoughts in order to change my life.The interesting thing about this age is not a factor. Anyone at any age can change their life, which is a decision each and every one of us can do.
What mountain do you have to move in order to have your dream come true? Changing your mind is like moving a mountain. Can one really move a mountain? The answer is YES! How? One rock at a time. It may take time but if one is wanting to move the mountain one must focus a fixed amount of time, like X hours days, weeks, months or maybe years, to moving the rocks, the mountain will be eventually moved.
The other interesting thing is that everyone has built their own mountain even if they don’t know it. What have you given up because you refuse to move the mountain? Where in life would you be if the mountain was not in your way? How many people would you be able to help if the mountain was not in the way?
This year make it a must to remove the mountain and break free from the mental chains that lock you in place. In other words, FREE your mind and SUCCESS will FOLLOW.

My favorite line: "everyone has built their own mountain." Building a mountain takes time too, so it makes me think about what patterns I have put in place that build bigger obstacles instead of removing them.
Great thought and it is interesting that we build those obstacles and then tell ourselves that the obstacle is keeping us from success.
This is a good one...love the analogy of moving that mountain, one rock at a time even if it takes months, sometimes years, the moutain will move.
So...its ONward and UPward for you and I look forward to your journey!

Thank you Gregory, this was the reminder I needed to get shifting those rocks again! It's so easy when life takes over to lose focus!
That has been my problem and the reason I wrote this for everyone including myself to remember the goal

What we think about we bring about. In most cases that is true!! If it did totally come true then I would have been one super hot model by the time I was 20 on the cover of some swim suit magazine.
What is true is that most people are in their own prison of I can'ts. I like the word Impossible. If one takes the I'm out of Impossible, guess what, Possible is the only thing left! Possible makes up most of the word Impossible.
The hardest part is the taking action part!!! We can think about something for ever but without action nothing happens.
