Core “Business Start Up” Training
asked in
WA Affiliate Program
Updated

Can I keep the greggdi.com site?

I tried the free trial, and thought I'd quit when that was up. By the time a week was over, I was so impressed with the quality of training, that I just couldn't quit, Tom.

Perhaps I am out of line here, but it was my understanding that the basic level in WA was for a trial run of 7 days for free.

Hmmmm......not sure why anyone would want to drop out of such a great training program. Regardless of what else a person is doing, you can use this info. to put together a fantastic website (I do not see anything about a website on your profile....perhaps I've missed it?)
WA can be used to promote pretty much anything at all.

On the other hand, a storefront business takes time...just like an online business. But a person has to ask themselves....which type of business will continue on into the future ... and with a residual income for years to come?
Which business will have a support system?
Which business would we have to hope that someone gives us a big order?

There are pros and cons to both types of business opportunities.

Bottom line is, look at things in the long term.

:) Tom

I'm not sure I understand your question. You are a premium member and you want to go back to a free member? If that is what you're asking, they don't allow you to go back. You can always keep your domain, but if you don't wish to stay a premium member here, you will have 30 days to find hosting elsewhere for your site. Hope that helps.

Since I'm not making anything here at this time I have to give more time to my graphic design.

if you already went premium then you were able to access the higher levels of training that are not with the starter membership, that is the reason you can't go back to free membership, however you may be able to rejoin down the road, but meantime you would have 30 days to move everything now. Thing is it takes time and dedication to make money here, some people a lot faster than others, 3 months seems pretty average, but the formula certainly works if people are getting referred through my website within the average timeframe and on the basic training.

Well, you probably don't want to lose your website, so I suggest you host it somewhere else. You have the full 30 days to do this after you cancel your membership.

You can. However, you won't get the complete package if you don't go Premium. Why wouldn't you be able to keep the greggdi.com site?
Are you paying for monthly hosting? If so, Yeah, I think you'll be ok, but maybe someone else will chime in on that.

That being said, You can have a successful website even if you're a Free member.

It just takes more legwork, build your network by asking people here if they will add you as friend on social networks so that you may be able to get help from them.

This is Your Community, Premium or not.

I have images on my site, logos, illustrations etc. I want to be able to click or roll over and have image enlarge. Been looking all over but can't seem to find anything. I did

Hi, Lunaela, Loes, Yes that is what I want to do. I even started to look in my old school books for coding. lol I'm in table press now so I can distribute the thumbnails across my page. Since I'm using that I cannot see the pics. I tried your link and got the code. Now things are working. Thanks to the both of you.

If you are unable to find a plugin that will do what you want you might want to consider experimenting with HTML or CSS. It sounds like you want a hover effect? Maybe something like this:

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/css3_hover_image_gallery/

When you click on the image, you get a little pencil in the corner, click on that and you get a form where you can choose, thumbnail, 225x300 and choose there for costum size, you can change to a bigger picture there, greetings loes

Images displayed want to roll or click and it enlarges how?
