SUNO Limits Downloads & Other Changes

Suno is making some major changes coming September 3, 2026, and one of the biggest is the end of unlimited downloads.
Under the new system, Free users will get 7 lifetime trial downloads, while Pro and Premier subscribers will receive 20 and 60 downloads per month. And yes, these limits will apply to songs you've already created—not just new songs.
But downloads aren't the only thing changing. Suno is also retiring older music-generation models, changing how extensions and remixes work with those older songs, and clarifying commercial rights for music downloaded by paying subscribers.
