Artificial intelligence is changing the way music is created, but one question continues to divide musicians and listeners:
Can an AI performance deliver the emotion of a song written by a human?
Rather than debating the answer, I decided to create an experiment.
The song featured in this video was written entirely by me—from the lyrics and melody to the overall musical vision. The only thing that changed was the performer. Instead of being sung by a human vocalist, the song was interpreted by AI.
So now the question becomes yours to answer.

The Song Comes First
Long before AI entered the conversation, great songs were often recorded by multiple artists. Different singers could take the same words and melody and create entirely different emotional experiences.
This project follows that same idea.
The songwriting remains exactly the same. The lyrics haven't changed. The melody hasn't changed. What changes is the voice delivering the performance.
Instead of asking whether AI can write great songs, this experiment asks something much more interesting:
What happens when a human-written song is performed by AI?
Is Emotion in the Voice… or the Song?
Many people believe emotion comes entirely from the singer.
Others believe the emotion begins with the songwriter and the story being told.

Technology Has Always Changed Music
Every generation has seen new technology reshape music.
Electric guitars changed rock.
Synthesizers changed pop.
Digital recording transformed the recording studio.
Virtual instruments expanded what independent musicians could create from home.
AI may simply be the next chapter.
Like every technology before it, it's a tool. What ultimately matters is how that tool is used—and whether it helps communicate an idea that connects with listeners.
