Just a Struggling Woman who Needed a Way Out!
Like most people, I grew up believing what my parents taught me, work hard in school, get good grades, go to college, and get a good job, so I did that, but it didn't work out too well. Got involved in the college partying, first time away from home, went wild, and got kicked out of college! Ended up spending most of my life working in manufacturing jobs, working my butt off, but barely making ends meet. I grew tired of working so hard for so little, and decided to try this online business stuff. I started online in 2012, and cried many tears from having my websites hijacked, stolen, and being slapped by Google! I spent a fortune on webinars, classes that wanted me to upgrade constantly, telling me that if you want all the pieces to the puzzle, you must upgrade and buy this and that! Geez$$$! I grew tired and felt that online business is a bunch of nonsense!
That's when I decided to try one more time with Wealthy Affiliate before throwing in the towel to this online business stuff.
My opinion so far of "Wealthy Affiliate"? Amazing and honest! They tell you exactly like it is and show it too! Everything you need to make it online is included in here with no upsales! What a relief! :-) That's what attracted me to " Wealthy Affiliate", There expertise of themselves and their members, their honesty, and NO UPSALES! Because of this fact, I upgraded to premium with 3 days remaining before I ran out of time!
I truly believe that I am finally on my way to creating my true dream of being my own boss and that laptop lifestyle that I see many people have created online before me. All it takes is following the path that Kyle and Carson have laid out, and the most important thing, taking action! We all can make it in here! :-)

Your experiences with online scammers, false gurus and opportunists sounds so familiar. .I did shed a few tears a d threw.in the towel a few times too.. but like you decided to come back to WA.. A genuinely white hat online IM learning facility. You made a wise decision to come back to WA and upgrade to Premium.. The training here is definitely unequaled and the awesome community support help to keep one on track.. All you need do is apply yourself constantly and always feel free to ask for help when needed. Greetings to you GreenKid. I feel ya about the scams, etc. I went through that also. I worked for over 30 years which included factory work, office work and then I just knew I hit it big with employment with the Fed Gov't as a Case Tech for SS. Retired now though. I did the online thing and failed expensively and frustrating to the point of never doing it again. But, after a breather, I found this website and I am very pleased so far with the help and the presenters of the live vids classes. Yes, your dream and probably most of the WA family is to be our own boss. I believe it can be done if we just stay focused on the end product. Yea, I do believe that. If there is a point where it becomes a bit overwhelming, just give a holler and for sure there will be a hand out to you to grab a hold too. So don't despair Help is here just for the askin ok? Welcome and enjoy the stay.
