It's in the house!
This title is acutally one of my Grandfather's old catch phrases. He was a pastor, and would always encourage his church members to use their gifts. His theory was that whatever help anyone needed, they could find it right in the congregation. If someone needed a wedding singer, Pop would say "It's in the house". If someone else needed a seamstress, Pop would reply "It's in the house". You get the idea. He would say it so much that it would actually annoy me as I was growing up. But now, I find myself thinking the same thing about the WA.
Pop was onto something
I wanted to know how to expand on Kyle's tips for social media. His training got me off to a good start, but I realized that I needed more direction in getting noticed. I was fortunate enough to follow Mary Cascio (Affiliate WAHM) on Twitter. She is a fellow WA, and she has an amazing training on how to build a following on Facebook :https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=676576839045715 . I followed the tips that she provided and have seen a steady growth in my network. I used her tips on both FaceBook and Twitter!
The help that I needed was right here at the WA the whole time! Do you need a little bit of help with your skills? Maybe you just need someone to break down a tricky concept for you. Look for it right here at the WA. As my Grandfather would say, It's in the house!
