How I added google ads to my header and footer
I've been playing about with Adsense for a few days now with my site http://backyardlivingproductsreview.com/ , I was quite happy in the knowledge that you can add code to a text widget within the sidebar, but I struggled to get code into the main body of the page.
You need to go to appearance/editor/templates then add code on both header.php and footer.php. You should finish up with something similar to the image attached.

Thanks Jimmy. I just received my AdSense account also. I haven't played around with it yet. But, this is very helpful...and I will keep it in mind when I do. I don't need extra frustration...that's for sure!
