The Value of Rank Math
As with all of us, I have been struggling with getting my new (2 1/2 months) site ranked and sizable traffic to the site. Last week, TheAbiePPlus made a recommendation to me that has proven to be a Godsend. I wanted to share this, especially with those of you that are new.
Abie recommended I try the plug-in Rank Math in lieu of the many SEO type plug-ins I was using. I was immediately pleased with the change, but frankly, today, after finding some additional functionality, I am blown away by it.
A very useful feature I just found today is as follows:
1. Once you have published a post (haven't tried this on a page yet), go to your dashboard and click on Posts and then a Post of your choosing and go to edit mode. First, you should notice that Rank Math assigns an SEO score to your post. I had some that were ZERO (though I had a great keyword, etc.), the twenties, maybe one in the 50's.
2. If you go to the "right sidebar" menu and click post, you get a menu of numerous functions and attributes (Categories, etc.). NOW, here is the cool thing I just found today. At the upper right hand corner of that sidebar "menu", click on the 3 dots. It brings up an entirely new menu. About 1/2 to 2/3 of the way down, you can see Rank Math listed. Click on that and you enter "SEO nirvana".
3. My "SEO Nirvana", includes not only Rank Math telling my SEO, but gives me a dashboard of why my score is what it is...and what can be done to improve it. Using this tool, I made just a few of the recommended changes and my SEO scores are now in the 70's. That may not be "expert" numbers, but it is quite a huge improvement for this WA neophyte who is still riding his tricycle!
4. I plan to go over each every one of my posts and go through this Rank Math assessment and improvement process.
IN CLOSING, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU UPLOAD AND ACTIVATE the Rank Math plug-in!!

I have just recently started exploring Rank Math. I installed it based on a recommendation after AIOSOE & Monster crashed my site. But honestly had not been using all of its capabilities. The 2+ hour tutorial must be consumed in pieces, but it seems well-rounded. But more importantly, I have found a new source of information Jack Cao. His style resonates well.

Hi Mike, I use Rank Math Pro, also their Content AI; it's pretty good. It helps improve my writing skills. You might want to use the Pro version later; it's not expensive, and neither is their Content AI. I love Rank Math. I have developed a close personal relationship with the owner, Bhanu. In addition, you see Jack Cao, a WA member here, in Rank Math YouTube videos. Jack works for Rank Math. He's an excellent source of information if you ever get stuck on how to do some things in Rank Math. It's one of my best recommendations too. The pro version is so much better. I have been able to get my scores up. It does take some work to get your score from 70 to 90. The way to do it is to include screenshot images and examples to improve your SEO scores. For instance, in a how-to, especially a step-by-step method. You use words, but visuals are important because they help improve your SEO score in Rank Math. Also, YouTube embedding videos help. Think about those. Great job! You are getting there. Frank is correct when he says Rank Math does not guarantee you will rank in Google. it's all about providing E. E. A. T and helpful content along with keywords and compelling headlines.

I did get rank math a few days ago. Haven't seen any scored or analytics yet. I think it may take a few days to start getting results. I also saw a package they offer and is about $90.00-there lowest package. Do you think I should at least get that or just wait and see what Rank Math looks like in a few days. I have site kit that I look at my results also.
I have been using their free package for two years. It will take a day or two to get stats. Be sure to use it for the Meta and keywords when you are creating your posts.
Thanks for the info. I will hold off on the first package they offer and maybe won't need that. I have recently for 2 weeks started working on social media and have seen much better results about that part but now am still waiting for rank math to start showing results. A guy I chat with months ago has rank math and he said he likes that SEO a lot.
