A Fast 2 Months.Where Am I?

Well, I have just completed 2 months here as a Premium member. Admittedly, I have had to reset my goals once and will have to do so again as things (mostly the website following and monetization) have not gone as quickly as I had hoped. That said, I think I have made progress and thought I would just list some accomplishments and lessons learned:
1. Website development is progressing. I think LESSON LEARNED #1 is I wish I would have spent more time selecting my website THEME. I just went with the Wordpress Classic theme as I saw that within the training. Now, having seen a few newbies share their websites with "other" themes, I am really impressed with their look and feel at a very early stage. I have thought about changing mine, but fear that I will break it more than I will fix it. I have played with color schemes, added some images, etc. which make my posts and pages look acceptable, but the "landing" page is just all black and white (I haven't create or implemented a main/home page).
2. LESSON #2 would be to spend lots of time finding your niche. I chose one that was too broad and had to narrow it down after a month.
3. I am averaging about 2 posts a week. I started a weekly newsletter at the beginning of June which gives me a way to "push" content out. Admittedly, my email list now is only 15 people and mostly family and friends. I hope this will grow.
4. I have joined the Amazon Affiliate Program and have create a couple of sales pages. I don't have any sales yet, but they haven't been up more than a week.
5. LESSON #3- Keep up with the training. I fell behind in the training because I was so intent on getting the website up and selling (my reason for starting this business is to pay for my son's medical bills, so there is some urgency). I highly recommend that new members focus upon these 5 things first:
A. Select your website theme...LOOK at the alternatives
B. Spend ample time finding your niche, and
C. Focus upon the training
D. Join Google Search Console and take the Google Search Console training
E. Keep producing content
