Time for me to get stuck back into my site after an awesome 6 weeks with the kids.
We were out as much as we could weather permitting and around work patterns. We managed to walk around 25 miles over the space of two weeks going on walks in the woods and around nature reserves. The kids loved it.

When we do the walks in the woods they get to ride their bikes. Now the 5-year-old has learnt how to ride her bike without stabilisers so my two youngest kids can now ride their bikes when we go on our future walks.
My autistic son who is 10, has really grown in stamina thanks to our walks and he absolutely loves feeding the ducks as we walk along the lakes and rivers. We have bought him a bike so now we can focus on teaching him to ride while my other kids are riding around us.
In these financially challenging times, it's great to be able to have such fun exploring the wilderness and knowing your kids are loving it too.
