My 80/20 Schedule

Whereas my past looks like the opposite of what I'm doing now, my current goal is to spend 80% of my time DOING, i.e. creating content and editing my website. I want to spend the other 20% reading about internet marketing, hanging out on WA and in Live Chat, and planning on how to apply what I've learned to my current ventures.

In the past, I simply read around on IM. I fantasized about having a ClickBank account that raked in $100s per day. I jumped to whichever new shiny object caught my eye.

And guess what?

I didn't get anywhere.

Ultimately, I was afraid of going into the unknown that is the world of internet marketing (how it seemed for me).

I was afraid of putting a lot of effort into something only to see no reward.

However, I was able to gain some leverage on myself by realizing that if I put in 4 hours per day for an entire year on this and made NO $, then I would've gained some invaluable skills like market research, website creation, copywriting, and general online (and offline) entrepreneurial skills.

This is obviously the worst-case scenario, but helped me to realize that it would not be a lose-lose scenario.

Anyways, I know this (80/20 rule) has been said thousands of times, but I just wanted to make a personal twist with this.
