Authoring & Writing Content

I have some historical information included in my blog, and I am not sure if I need to reference it. What is the recommened style of referencing for a blog?

Thanks
G

TheSprence's answer is good. Generally, I just acknowledge content taken from sources in the text. "Jerry Smith, in Blah, Blah, has said .........." Acknowledgment of charts, pictures etc can be written below them.

If you want to be formal with your citations, Citation Machine makes it really easy:

http://www.citationmachine.net/

I do what John does, just to be on the safe side :)

Thanks Judep !

I will sometimes do an external link to the reference page in my article or at the end I will write: Source: ###
And link to the page there.

Thanks

No probs! :-)

You could include a link to the original text.
At least refer to an original author.
Robert

Thanks

I am aware that Affiliate marketing is a very affective means to create a residual income, but I am interested in other ways that can draw traffic to your site, for example pai

what you can do is use the search bar up top Grace. Search for any type of training and you will find it there.

I don't have any experience with local business marketing, but it occurs to me that you could put some sort of promo package together, like a folder with your business info, a summary of your services, etc., and then take it around to the local businesses in your area. So much of what we do is relatively anonymous online, and it might be a refreshing change for them to meet you face to face. Just my two cents for whatever it's worth. Wishing you the best!
