You are so right. The distractions are endless. Then add self doubt into the equation and you could go round in circles for ever.
One step at a time does it. Follow the training slowly but surely then keep repeating what the training has taught you.

Recognizing your failing is the first huge step towards solving it. I too have suffered from the same disease in the past and it does have a name; "Shiny Object Syndrome."
It has slowed most down at one time or another so do not fret. it is easy to beat once you admit to having it.
Well Bill, actually I'm not keen enough to chase after the shiny object. I'm contented, relaxing under the sunshine.
Now I'm pushed to work for my mission and make it happen.
