The Man in The Walking Coma
Hello WA family. It's been a while since I've been on this site. To be honest it's not because I've been too busy, I've been too un-motivated. I started building my website and got discouraged I think because it started to become a little complicated and I gave up and lost my motivation. So I went back into my Walking Coma. Working two low paying jobs to make up one decent paying job. Which of course takes a lot of hours out of your day for yourself, which is still no excuse for not being on WA. I've been in this coma most of my life. Taking on jobs because they didn't require anything but the ability to be trained. It's funny, but the first thing I thought of when I typed in "trained" was what happens to Lions taken from the wild and are trained to be submissive. I guess because it was easier and provided a certain amount of certainty that I had a secure income. So basically this is how I thought. This will get me nowhere as far as prosperity or wealth. The only thing I will achieve is a life of regret and a pension and maybe SSI benefits. Every now and then I come out of my coma and start projects that would probably change my outlook on life and then BAM! Back into my coma. I have not been able to determine the trigger that disables me. Two words come to mind for me. Belief and certainty. The belief in my abilities wane off and I run back to the things most comfortable. And I lack the certainty that the projects I start will ultimately change my life and and how I see it. I've been through the whole gamut of motivational info and everything to do with changing my life. But it all leaks out of me like a car radiator hose with a tiny cut in it. The pressure builds to a point where it eventually all dissipates. So here I am again. This time I will try to watch for the trigger that causes me to procrastinate. And move forward for a permanent positive change in my life. Wish me luck as I wish it to you also. Procrastinate (I tried to edit out this word but it did not respond.) But guess what, I'm working to edit this word from my life.
