What Is Financial Freedom To You?

I believe it is better to talk about WEALTH before talking about financial freedom.

What is Wealth?

My definition of Wealth comes from Robert Kiyosaki.

"Wealth is NOT a measurement of how much money you have but how long you can live without working."

In other words, I can say that wealth is a measurement of Time, not Money.

Having financial freedom to me means being able to live infinitely long without working, but yet able to meet ends needs.

Check out these two ways a friend of mine told me, Leeds, to achieve financial freedom:

1, Make a lot of money, so much so that you can't spend it all in your life.

This is the most straightforward thinking of achieving financial freedom.
It is what most people have in mind.
But the question is;

How much is enough in today's world?

How long does it take to make that money?

How much effort is needed in the process?

What is the opportunity cost, in terms of health, family, etc?

I ask these questions because I have seen too many people work too hard to make money online, only to realize that they have lost their health and family in the process.

NOTE; Consistency is the key to financial freedom, yet, can also lead to stress when a blogger blog all his time and neglects family time, religious time, and time for rest, etc.

2, Make monthly passive income, such that your monthly income is more than your monthly expense.

Let's say your total monthly expenses are $5,000.
If you can generate a passive income of $5,500 from businesses, property rentals, stock dividends, and/or bond interest, then you've technically achieved financial freedom.
It may sound difficult because I've set a high target of $5,500.

But I know there are people here in WEALTHY AFFILIATE with a higher target and still making it.

In my stage of brainstorming to join WA, I was told I can achieve financial freedom as soon as I signed up for training.

Now, this is what I found out in the little time I've been here;

You don't make money online by joining WA, you make money online by applying things you can catch through WA's numerous training.

Finally, focus on your training, engage online, and diversify the use of your time.
