Why I Went With The Greens
I've realized so much lately how important it was for me to make some realistically needed changes in my health. Go Green!!! I don't mean Michigan State University. I am officially a vegetarian. That means a total change in my diet. No more beef, no more, chicken, hen, turkey, dairy products, sweets made with sugar, wheat, no fast food, and the list goes on. I was already taking a host of vitamins/supplements as well as exercising. However, I wasn't exercising as much so the regimen has increased. Health and wellness is a current movement that is spreading like wild-fire and understandably so. With that said, more and more people have jumped on the band wagon due to being diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, COPD, cancer, liver problems, and the list is endless. Many people get up in the morning after sleeping and are still tired. Why is that? They are not taking care of themselves. What if they simply had more information on how to change their lives? What if they could simply incorporate the items and regimen necessary to change their overall health. You can!!! Go to my Vemma site on my profile for more information. God Bless!!!

what you described is about going vegan as opposed to going green
going green is about making best use of all resources, including the consumption of renewable and non-renewable resources
going vegan is a fad that may not be as healthy as it is being promoted to be
all things are meant to be enjoyed by mankind, including meats of all kind, -- it is the excessive consumption of these foods combined with a more sedentary lifestyle that is behind the health crisis
just a few a thoughts
I appreciate your comments. However, I am well aware of what it means to be going green. LOL! It was simply a title to be funny in terms of the color of some vegetables. In regards to your commentary about going vegan being a fad, that is your opinion and that's cool. However, it is important to make statements which can be supported by facts. Otherwise, it is simply an opinion. I'm going vegetarian in an effort to have better health which was suggested by my physician which is entirely different. Have a blessed day.
