Having a winning mindset

I have read books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think & Grow Rich, etc. The number one book I've read and continue reading is of coarse, The Bible. I have had challenge after challenge and many trials that I've endured during my lifetime. I've experienced high levels of stress, sat up nights trying to figure out my next move, and sought God for wisdom on how do I make it. We all if asked would say that we want to win. We want to hold up our hands in victory. We want to be cheered on. However, there is the factor of not only faith, but there is work.

My insurance sales manager mentioned at a meeting that no one in sales or calling themselves an entrepreneur better ever say, "I can't afford it". He said, "just say that you are not willing to work hard enough to get it". He actually fired an employee years ago when he worked in motorcycle sales for saying that very thing. I thought it was a tad harsh, but I understood why he resorted to that action. Thing is, he wanted people around him who had a winner's mindset. He felt that this guy had a defeated mindset.

The word of God says that a man is what he thinks. Think & Grow Rich clearly illustrates how important our thoughts are because they really direct us in either a winner's path or a defeatist path. We have to think and then believe our way out of poverty. As soon as I have negative thoughts, I may wallow in it for a short while because my circumstances hurt. We are only human. However, there comes that moment to make a decision that I am going to win. We have to stand up and declare that we will win. Say that you see yourself winning. Develop a vision, write it down, say it to yourself until it sinks in.

Say, "I AM A WINNER! THAT'S WHAT I DO! I WILL FIGURE THIS OUT! Ask for help if we need it. Surround ourselves with others who have made a decision to win or can show you how to win. Speak life into your family. Speak life into your business. Call yourself successful and that you are an important person. Tell yourself that you make a lot of money and you have a thriving business. We all have to figure this thing out and it's called WINNING!!! WE ARE WINNERS SO WE WIN!!! God Bless!!!
