6 Months !!

Wow, just saw my email this morning, 6 Months. I can hardly believe that I've been with WA for a very short 6 months. A lot has happened in this short amount of time. . . . .

The Good

Since joining WA, I've met so many wonderful people and have been blessed with some awesome folks who I consider as friends. Thanks to Kyle and others, this platform and all of the incredible training provided, I've created my own business. There have been some bumps along the way, but with the help, assistance and advice of so many here, I've been able to cross those bumps comfortably. One of the most helpful tools we have access to in WA are the blogs of truly remarkable people. Blogs of inspiration, successes, insight and information. Each blog I read gives me some new knowledge, some insight into things new to me. Writing blogs too has been beneficial. It gives me the opportunity to grow and learn to become a better communicator. When I first started to write, I would sit here shaking like a leaf at the thought of someone reading my words and criticizing me, thats not the case at all, especially on this wonderful platform. I could continue writing about all of the truly amazing things WA has opened up for me, and for all of us, but I won't. Along with the good, comes . . . . . . . .

The Bad?

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experiences here since becoming a premium member of WA. Have I "Made It" yet in my first 6 months, No. But that isn't a bad thing as I have thought about what I am doing here as a long haul thing. Building a successful business and attaining my goals is a slow process, one step at a time. A lesson today, or a post, maybe some research. I've learned a lot along the way, and have so much more to learn as I continue to grow. But what about . . . . .

The Ugly

I haven't experienced it yet, but I've read about this or that person getting negative comments on blogs posted here. I don't have room in my life for those who have negative views on what a person writes. At best, if you do not agree with someones point of view here, don't comment. I'm sure we've all heard of the golden rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. My grand mother used to scold us, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything.

Closing
In closing, I would like to first thank Kyle and Carson for their work here in providing the best training to be found and for a remarkable platform. Many thanks to all who give me motivation. Wealthy Affiliate is so much more that I could have wanted or imagined. To the newbies among us, be diligent, follow the training and do the job. Write, write, write. Get involved with the community.

Many of us have had bad times or tragedy along our journey. Wifey and I both had some serious medical issues which have resolved or are under control. My father has Alzheimers, its reared its head once again. He no longer knows who I am nor for that matter my sister. Through all of these hard times, I've always been able to come home to WA and know that my friends are still here cheering me on.

Always remember, this is not a race.

I wish you all health, safety, happiness and success

Greg

Greg. You are not alone. I have been here with Wealthy Affiliate six months. I got the email telling me that i got the dedication badge. I still have not written about. And no, I am not happy with my learning nor my accomplishments. I feel I should be further ahead them I am. A lot of obstacles do get on your way. So just keep moving forward as I will and hope to reach our goals soon. Good luck!

Lydia,
Thanks for dropping in and reading. Don't be discouraged by where you are. I see it like this, I am where I need to be right now, today. I've made progress, made a few very good friends, and I know that our community is behind me. You have my support Lydia.

Congrats on the 6 months marker. The time does fly by on here. I am so glad you have discovered how really wonderful this community is. It keeps me going when other things don't do the job. Hope you hang in there and succeed, and enjoy your journey along the way.

Hi Fran,
Thanks for dropping in and reading.

Greg, what a great blog of appreciation, your words demonstrate your feelings about WA. It's great to hear members such as yourself tell the newbies about your nervousness about first writing, telling them your lack of skill at writing at first and graciously admitting to it. Being ever so humble to thank Kyle and Carson, giving recognition were recognition is due.

Your friend Joe

All from the heart Joe. Thank you for dropping in
