You Cant Help Someone That Isn't Willing To Help Themselves.

I've heard the saying many times, however never really took notice of it so much. Until yesterday when we received a typical, ridiculous comment from one of our former subscribers after unsubscribing. You know that classic - "You're A Scam"

Now something I do love is when people judge things from another's perspective or a book by it's cover.

For instance in our case, we had somebody subscribe to our mailing list through one of our Paid Ads (CPC) which was heavily targeted towards specific keywords and for those willing to change their lifestyle, create an online business, personal development - yada yada....

so this guy was specifically looking for an opportunity within that field, to which he found our perfectly good and proven system that has helped many others create an online business, with six figure earnings whilst working on their own terms.

After receiving our emails (to which i will mention, he did not open ONE of them!), he decided to unsubscribe but on his way out state "you're a scam".

Firstly, this just proves that this guy is a skeptic that doesn't trust any source other than what he thinks he knows, which clearly isn't much! And also probably another excuse he can give himself as to why he cannot be bothered to do what it takes to change his mundane lifestyle and actually invest in himself to create something successful. After all, at least when he asks himself "So? Did you find something that will help you change your life around and become a self-made success?" He can at least answer himself with "No, it was a god damn scam! Oh well...until next time...i'll find an opportunity ONE day...ONE day i'll have my perfect life..."

There are many people like this that find an excuse as to why they won't change their lives and it's all down to procrastination.

As much as I wanted to reply with something beefy trying to clarify how he has seen our system in such a wrong way and especially that he hasn't even opened any emails to see what we do, we reigned it in after tallying the advantages and disadvantages up to realise -- it is not worth it, especially when we have many other clients willing to learn that are there waiting for our emails to come in and take action. So why should we try and justify our business system to this ONE time-waster that gets off on trying to damage various businesses report!? If anything he done us a favour by leaving the group to which I could have thanked him for, but decided we had much better and bigger things to b doing with our time than to even give the guy the satisfaction of a retaliation.

So my message to you all is -- just realise there will be people come and go that are full-time skeptics. Do not waste your time on them, neither let them get at you!

Some people you cannot help try to change when they aren't willing to change themselves. Period.

Keep doing what you do, keep delivering the good stuff to the right people and succeed with those willing to invest in themselves. That's where it matters.

hi there
Well yes some people will always be skeptic. No matter what. And some are looking for the quick fix. And when that does not happen, they give up. Moving on to the next big thing. Hoping, as you said, one day, to get that miracle solution. Or the person did not want to invest time, was bitter from previous experience and made a judgment call possibly too early, or was having a hard time processing information. All possible explanations.
Emily

True! There are a lot of get rich quick scams out there on the web to have mistaken it, however our approach and non-use of the hard sales pitch shouldnt have been mistaken for that type of scheme, but more as an educational system that will help you LEARN HOW TO build a profitable online business. If we were selling him hard pitches every email 3 times a day to get him to buy our products / services (like most MLM) then i could understand.....never mind! Need to narrow down the target audience next time :) Thanks for your comment Emily

regards
bradley

Hi Bradley
you got a point there, maybe it is about narrowing your audience. I feel your frustration. I would feel the same when you know you are not "selling a scam" but rather teaching tools to be successful online.

well thats it Allmyrel and when you are paying for the likes of Adword campaigns to attract those interest and willing to learn and you end up wasting money on people like these....you can see why i wanted to send him an email in return lol.

Oh well they come and go - forgotten about him already! 2016 is a big year for us :)

The first step always has to come from the person looking for help. If they can't bring themselves to take that step, they will always look for a 'scapegoat' to blame for their lack of action. I am really sorry that this has happened to you, but you believe as do many others by the sound of it. Just think to yourself that it is their loss and move on and find people who really want to be helped.

thanks for the message Rose and completely agree with what you are saying. No hard done by this client to be fair, we just brushed him off our shoulders we have plenty of other people in our list to worry about haha. You will always get them!

That's why there will always be a divide in the percentage of people that go out and find an opportunity to become an entrepreneur and pursue something like this at WA or our website or any other type of service that can help you build an income online, all through to creating a product and then you have those that live in "Reality" and think the only way to earn money is through working for someone in a boring corporate job.

That's what the schools have done to us!

Anyway - onwards and upwards eh :)

Brad

People these days want a quick fix that is what shows like the XFactor show them. Win this and you will have an easy life, well it's now true they never see the hard work and dedication that has 'made' the big names. Yes sometimes dreams can come true, but usually you really have to work at it. A lot of people but by no means all, don't seem to want to do that.

Todays Generation = Lazy People !!

Agree with your comment though. Dreams are most definitely possible but got to be willing to put the work in. Nothing in life is free...
