Damn These Distractions!

I'm ashamed to say that I keep letting myself become distracted, in fact I'm going completely against the grain of my own advice, and that is to never have the TV on while trying to create content!

It's like juggling at the same time as trying to do the washing up :(

On one hand I'm annoyed with myself because I know it's gonna slow me down to almost a grinding halt yet I still do it, on the other hand I feel that I deserve to do it because I work hard at my day job, you can see my conundrum can't you?

Still, there's always tomorrow to get back on track and I've already made a promise to myself that I will and I will.

So, why am I telling you this?

To remind you that if you're finding yourself doing the same thing as me then my advice would be to absolutely not try to juggle while doing the dishes, if you're going to juggle then dedicate your time to it and then same goes for working on your business.

My other advice would be to, if you don't already, is to quite literally find yourself somewhere you know for sure that won't get disturbed, your own little cave if you will, if you're a parent let your spouse and kids that where'll be for a couple of hours and that you'll catch up with them later.

You don't have to do it at home....

Take yourself out of your abode and go to your local library, it's perfect if you think about it because why do people go to the library? Well to be on their own and read, or in our case, to have alone time with our businesses and the building of!

Or if you've got noisy housemates like me then put your earphones in and get to work, whatever makes you happy just as long as you ain't got any distractions so you can happily commit time to your business :)

Tomorrow is a new day:

Unless the zombie apocalypse, which I'm guessing would be a major distraction I'm gonna be taking ass somewhere quiet and practice what I preach!
