argh. the number of site templates in my wordpress admin panel only has 2 of them. Why, when there are more to choose at the beginning of creating your new site.

Those two are the Themes (templates) currently installed and immediately available for use. If you go to Appearance > Themes and click on the Install tab, you'll have access to either the siterubix curated collection or as a Premium Member all the many thousands of themes available directly through WordPress or you can simply download themes from respected developers own sites such as Woo who have both free and premium (paid for) themes for example. http://d.pr/CGEg Rich.
