Handy WP Plug-In - Reusable Text Blocks for Organizing Links
Introduction
As you are building out your website, you will invariably need to place links on your site that point to affiliate offers or other content on the web.
Instead of putting individual links on individual pages, you might consider using a Wordpress plug-in like Reusable Text Blocks.
One Block - Many Places
As the name implies, this handy little plug-in allows you to create a reusable block of information (link, banner, johnson box, etc.) that you can then place on any page of your site.
The beauty of reusable blocks is that if your link changes for some reason, you don't have to scour every line of every page / post to find and swap out the link.
Just change the link once in your reusable blocks and PRESTO! it changes everywhere on your site wherever it is used.
Cool Tricks
This plug-in can be used for any block of information that you want to replicate across your site.
For example, let's say you want a banner that shows on various pages of your site (or even every page as a footer) pointing people to an event, page, site or offer.
You would simply create that banner inside of your Reusable Block plug-in, and then add the code to any page. You could also add it to a Footer widget.
Each week or month, you could swap out the banner for different promos, and this banner would change across any page with that block or across your whole site if you placed it in the footer.
