The online / Internet Marketing space is the world of shiny objects.
It's filled with glittering tips, tricks, hacks, secrets and blueprints for traffic, leads, conversions and sales.
Every ad, every link, every blog, every FB post is the next light at the end of the frustrating digital tunnel.
We chase and we chase these promises, like elusive fireflies in a dark forest. All the while, we wander further away from home where success is tucked away sleeping in a dimly lit back room.
There are certain basics you must complete if you are here, starting with completing every step in the WA Basic training.
If it says comment, then comment. If it says post a goal, then post a goal. If it says research a keyword this way, then do it.

After that, here are more basics that will help with your success:
- Choose a niche you'll enjoy spending time in
- Chose a niche you'll be proud to promote
- Build out a simple website
- Build out your content with strategic keywords and 2-3 anchors (pillar pages)
- Choose affiliate products that really solve your visitors' needs or help them progress toward their desires
And as cliche as it sounds, make it a point to truly serve the people that are coming to your site.
Obviously, not everyone will succeed if they follow these basics. That's the nature of the game.
But your chances are higher than if you chase the next shiny object.
Here's to your success in 2017.
