Bookmarking Within Wealthy Affiliate

Oh my goodness, do I feel a bit of a duffer or what? All this time I have been bookmarking WA blogs and training in whatever browser I happened to be using at any given time. It has made it quite difficult to go back and find them again, even with attempting to import them.

I only just discovered that by clicking on the star icon in the questions search bar at the top of the page, if I had saved any of the blogs, questions, or training that I liked as 'favourites', I could do a quick search for them right here in WA.

So how do you save a blog or training as a favourite within WA?

Beneath the title of each post, and below the information about when the post was last updated, you will find a bar with icons. The icons represent how many comments a post has, or settings to mute a post or report it, a message icon and the affiliate link icon for those wishing to share a post on their websites or social media. At the front of all of these there is a star icon. Simply click on this and you can select to tag or not tag the post. I suggest tagging so that you can easily see what the post is in relation to when you go back to it later. It is then an easy step to click on the star icon in the questions search bar and your favourites will be listed right there.

I've always wondered if there was an easy way to keep my favourite posts all in the one post. I can't believe it has taken me so long to figure this out. I can see there have been a few questions about this but I hadn't thought to look. Lesson learned. If ever I have a question about anything, just search the question bar first. Hope someone reading this has just discovered something new too. No question is a silly question. I still can't believe I didn't know this, but there is a lot to learn here and some things just slip right on past the eyes until you are ready to see it.

Happy Days To You All

Thank you for this training Ange, I am very happy to know this now :-)

Hi Louise,
I still can't believe it took me a few years to learn this. People had kept saying they were going to bookmark a training or post, but I always assumed they meant in their usual browser. I realised my mistake and really did feel like hitting myself on the forehead. I'm glad this post was of use to you too.

Good evening Ange,

I have just learned a new word, duffer.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Hi Taetske,
I am so sorry I am only just responding to your comment now, a year later. I must have missed the notification that you had commented. I'm glad you have learned a new Aussie word, we also say 'ding bat', 'blonk' and some other words too, that all mean basically the same thing.
Hope Spain is treating you well.

Good Morning Ange,

Do not worry, I have a loooooooooot of patience.
I have not seen you around much. Spain is nice, I have lived on my farm since 1981 and like it here. There is but one problem it is getting too big. Thinking of selling and building something a bit smaller, we will see. Hope you are doing well here at WA.

Oh that sounds lovely. But yes, I can understand if it's getting too big that you would consider downsizing. I have still been kept very busy with my daughter and caring for her. She has two littlies under the age of two and a half, the youngest about to turn one. The youngest has been extra clingy and needy and because of this, it has added on a lot of time into my usual caring role with her and all 3 children. I get very little time at present to invest in my business. I'm still going through the certification courses, and attempting to watch some of the replays of the live training by Jay too, so naturally need larger blocks of time to work than I have been able to find. I feel a change is in the air but until then, I'm here, but not always visible. Hope you are doing well.

You discovered it now, better now than never.
Sometimes we just can not see the things in front of us.
It takes also the courage to admit it.

Hi Sylvia.
Thank you for that. I still felt a bit of a duffer, but I don't mind admitting it if it helps someone else not be one. LOL.

It was a challenge for me too Ange. I think Mike's suggestion could help

Hi Paul
Thank you for adding your support. WA definitely is a learning curve, especially when something so simple gets overlooked in the journey.

Here is a training by Trish on bookmarking trainings. Hope it fills the bill!

Hi Michael
That's exactly the steps I took by pure chance. If only I had known there was a training on this before, I might have saved myself a lot of time. Thank you for sharing

Yeah, it took me some time to figure that out too. But hey, like what you said we can always hit the search bar or ask questions.

Hi Alice
Thanks for your comment and helping me feel better that I'm not the only one.
Ange

After a while, need to have bookmarks for the bookmarks!

Thanks Hat
I guess I'd better find out how to do that now too. LOL.
