My Son Dawson Gonzalez is a Talented Cellist
My son Dawson played cello with the Baytown Symphony Orchestra for the first time Saturday evening.
He is a freshman in high school and just 15 years old. He was honored to be invited to rehearse with them late last year and has been working hard on his music.
It was a great concert and believe me when I tell you everyone there knew he was my son and how proud I am of him. His Dad is too of course, but I was the one up front at the stage with my camera.
Also, he earned his first ever paycheck!
This is an exciting time for him and for us. He is such a terrific and talented young man. I had to share with my WA family!

Thank you for reading!

Gina, how terrific! Looks like a bright future ahead for Dawson. So encouraging to see young people like this in the arts. Proud Mom I 'm sure! Thanks for sharing. Warmly, Heather :-)

Proud mother. Congratulations,
Jorge
Wow, I forgot about this post. I should update it. He is 17 now and will be 18 in September. He is still playing his cello with our local symphony and doing great. Yes, I am proud. Thanks for leaving a note! ~Gina
It is always nice to remember special times with the children. Even better when they are talented.
