Need some advice for YouTube
Wondering if there's anyone here that can offer me some advice about YouTube thumbnails. I am starting a YouTube Channel and eventually a companion website here using WA which are essentially interviews of both well known individuals and everyday people and their life story. They vary in length, but some are longer versions of up to an hour which I had plan on editing into 10-15 minute parts.
My question is if anyone can give me advice on these title thumbnails I've created of interviews I've done already. Are they catchy enough and should I add in anything? I'm trying to not make it look so crowded. Thank you!

Use high-quality images
Keep it simple
Use contrasting colors
Include relevant text
Use branding elements
Test and iterate
Follow YouTube's guidelines
Those thumbnails look great; you need to test what work and discard why not.
And follow up on YouTube's small print.

I tend to use the most exciting or humorous scene for the video.

Thanks. For these interviews though, it’s just a head shots so don’t have many funny or humorous scenes unless there’s audio.
Find a still with the eyes closed and mouth open and then write a humorous title.
