To Drone or Not To Drone.
Hi Guys & Gals,
Some of you already know, but before becoming a member of WA, I had set up a drone services company: Epoch Aerial Solutions, LLC. I LOVE flying my remote aircraft & also hold the FAA part 107 rating. (My childhood dream was to become a REAL airline pilot, like my step brother Ricci). Unfortunately, the more involved I got in my business, the more reticent I became to pursue it. Being a very shy person, I was dreading the face to face interactions necessary to get clients. Another thing is, I really love to work through the night, into the wee hours. It's when I have the most energy & clarity of mind. It's 4am as I write this post, for example.
It was while poking around the web, regarding an issue related to my drone biz & blogging about it, that I discovered digital marketing. Now that sounded like something more suited to my personality.
The more I investigated, the more I gravitated towards d.m. I can work the hours that my body dictates are best for me. I can do it without having to talk to people (and yes, I am working on becoming more sociable:) It takes less start up capital, and the bonus is, I'm seeing ways that it can synergistically dovetail with my drone services venture.
So there you have the reasoning behind my putting drones on the back burner, and going full steam into digital marketing. If anyone was wondering. By the way, I'm not giving up droning, but for now, it's officially a hobby.
Since my decision, I've learned so much. I've met so many magnificent people here at WA. Best of all, I see the potential in patiently building this business. So, I'm in it, to win it. For the long haul, and all that good stuff.
As I continue on my life journey, I'd like to wish all of you here, at WA, continued success and happiness in all aspects of your lives!
