I am trying to delete the theme "home" page and also the default image..
Go to Pages > All Pages to delete the default page.
Go to Posts > All Posts to delete the default post.
Go to Appearance > Customize to change the header image.

I an upload images taken by my camera stored on my laptop to my website but I cannot upload images taken on my smart phone. I have tried using "convert my images" to change fro
Do you have IPhoto on your laptop, if so go to galaxy or wherever your images are stored on your iphone using a USB connection to your iphone and laptop and click on your Iphoto and import images from galaxy to iphoto then go to file next to your server icon and save image to a file in desktop.There are plenty of training on youtube . if you are having trouble still, go to your search engine and type in the appropriate -How To- question; nine times out of ten you will be successful.
I have not been able to upload images taken by my phone and stored on my computer. I get a no image found message. How did you get it to work?
Hi,K - Try resizing the image - make it smaller - and it may upload. I managed to get images uploaded a couple of days ago. I was simply doing trial and error or "fiddling about". So at the moment I cant tell you what size to alter it to.To resize - click on the image you want to upload - right click and go to "Edit" - in the toolbar you will see "Resize" Hope this helps.
I'm not an expert, but maybe WP is thinking that the images are corrupted when they actually work just fine.
I haven't had issues with that.
Also, you can try uploading them directly from your phone (big headache).

Before you upload to your website, please read this to make your pictures as important as your blogs for ranking Use Of Images Photos Pictures
The images need to be jpeg or png to be placed on your website. For a MAC, i download the images and manipulate them in "preview" and then select them from preview as when I hit "add media" in site manager. I don't know what the program is in windows, but there must be one that will help you get the pictures into the correct format.

HTTP error.
Thus the image is in jpg format but still no joy - any other ideas?
Check size/resolution. I had same problem with http error only picture was more than 1280 x .... Try to upload some 640 x 480 for example or 150 x 150 thumbnail size and you will see if is problem there or no
