Not in so many words.

I've noticed that some of the training is outdated, and I'm wondering if there are any updates that apply to the length of our posts? I've read that we live in a 140 character world and our training says that articles should preferably be over 1000 words. There are a couple of my articles that are under 1000 words, but one is indexed in Google. So...

Let me get straight to the point!

Is that a problem or not? I am reaching out to the WA community in your vast experience to see. Do you find that the length of your article makes a big difference? Obviously, if it is too short you can't really call it quality. Maybe you have a post that is only 800 words, but it gets just as much traffic as one with 1500 words or more.

If we are able to convey a great message in less than 1000 words should we keep adding to it to make it longer? I would love to know what your opinion or experience is.

Thank you for your feedback!

Hi - the average length of a post on page 1 of Google is 1890 words. Longer content implies to Google that you have more authority on your subject.

That is good to know. Thank you!

Yes, you are correct, it has been raised by littlemama and was answered by Kyle. They would look about the matter I think they are working on it already

Thank you for the info!
